The Name Quilt

Phyllis Root has captured another special childhood moment in this story. It is about a young girl Sadie, her grandmother, and the stories they share inspired by the names on a patchwork quilt. Sadly, one day the quilt is swept away in a rainstorm; but Sadie and her grandmother realize that the stories connected to the quilt are shared memories that can live on.
